does a two handed weapon do more damage than a one handed, because they are slower and i was wondering if by being slow it would deal the same damage as a one handed weapon.

It has more to do with the speed of the weapon, but two handed weapons should do more damage. You can see here a table for Swordsman ship weapons for example: http://www.uoguide.com/Swordsmanship_Weapons
