"A Plea For Help" quest

Postby Tancred RedStar » Mon Jul 09, 2012 9:47 pm

I started to upload bits and pieces of the topic and make item subpages, such as the raw ginger and blightborn slime, but haven't gotten around to finishing it(looooong weekend, lol).

I'm glad we have the info in the larger topic page, but my inclination is to generally keep to over-arcing epic pages for the scenario focused on the story, it's characters, plot turns, etc. and things like side quests or items and such would go on their own pages. This way, the main scenario page handles the topic as it would be read and the details are kept seperate for people just searching on an item(where did it come from and how do I get it) or a quest(what do I need to do) so they can just quickly read what's pertinent to them.

We already have separate articles for the event items, like:
http://www.uoguide.com/A_Sifting_Tray
http://www.uoguide.com/City_Banner
http://www.uoguide.com/Guardman's_Rope
http://www.uoguide.com/Meer_Warrior_Statuette
http://www.uoguide.com/Antiquity_Fragment
..

This quest is not actually a live event and part of The Awakening event cycle, but we can still do what we did with the Call to Arms event and add a "Main article: A Plea for Help" to the sixth act's section on The Awakening article.

That is kind of what I had mind, just haven't had time to work on it. A bunch of us on Chesapeake are doing it together for EM-related player town quest so hoping to get more and better info out of it.
