I thought I should ask here before I make any corrections to the wiki. On the entry of "Baron Leshire", there is one section that deals with Belo Ondariva and says the following: There is some dispute, it should be noted, if Belo Ondariva's existence is "official" fiction or is "player" fiction that was adapted by the manufacturer.
I would like, if i may, to put this dispute to rest. I am the creator of the Ondarivas as they appeared in the Ultima Legacy shards, and the timeline from which EA apparently adapted the history of Sosaria. There was no mention of Ondarivas anywhere in Ultima canon beforehand- the family name is a name I borrowed from Italo Calvino's novel "Il Barone Rampante." After a period of absence from the shard, I found out what happened and made a journal post:

There was a report made in UL as the plotline we were running was happening:

I wonder if this evidence could be accepted towards settling the dispute?

Re: Belo Ondariva Debate
Wow, that is pretty interesting. I had never heard of this.
On the subject of whether it is official canon: anything OSI published is canon. So even though it was not original, it became past of the UO story in their literature.
If it is true then of course you can add to the entry the back story of how it got into the game.
