Any UO Vetrans out there, or more recent recruits?

Postby Nyses » Sat Mar 19, 2011 11:25 pm

Great to see a new UO forum available. So how long have you been playing UO? I know many are off and on again, some are new, and some have played the entire time.

I myself started back in June of 98' , took a short break for a fem months a couple times, but have been a regular.

Nice to see you on the forum Nyses.

I started in August 1999. I played all the way up until Stygian Abyss. For the past year I've been very busy and had little time for actual playing UO =[

I've been playing Ultima Online for 2 years and 2 months now. I'm enjoying the game a lot, so I am here to stay permanently! I wish I'd experienced UO in the earlier days like you guys though.

I started in July 1999.

UO constantly changes and in different ways, for better or worse each time, depending on who you ask :)

Started with T2A on Chessy, whenever that was, and stopped playing when Ilshenar and the 3d client were introduced. Came back a little over a year ago to Atlantic.

Started with Ultima VII, then VIII Pagan, around 1997 a friend of mine got a Alpha tester CD.
But I started playing with my own account around 2001

Old thread is old, but it's top of the board! I started in 2001, on the rare occasion ran a second account for an extra house, but besides that, I've always traversed the marvelous land of Britannia with my main character Izzy from one account :3

Shamefully, I have not played any other Ultima game. I also struggle to find time to play multiple games these days, so I'm not sure I ever will experience another Ultima.

I first joined Britannia in 1999. I've played on Atlantic, Baja, Sonoma, and finally (and now to stay) on Napa Valley. Even though I started in 99, I only have 4.5 years active (lots of down time in between playing bursts). Each time I leave UO, I lose countless number of irreplaceable items.. you think that I'd learn.. but I'm crazy.

Started just after europa server went live, 1998 i think. Stopped playing after they introduced pub 16 (AoS) and took a really long break, came back 2008.
